Australia: Dhul Hijjah moon sighted, Eid-ul-Adha on July 10th

Sydney: The moon of Dhul Hijjah has been sighted in Alice springs, according to moon-sighting body on Thursday.

It said the month of Dhul Hijjah will commence from Friday, 1st of July 2022.

The body comprising clerics and experts said in a statement that Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on 10th July.

The statement was issued after collection of evidence of moon-sighting.

Eid-ul-Adha is celebrated 10 days after the moon of Dhul-Hijjah is seen.
