Fact-check: Slogans not raised against Imran Khan in Pakpattan

Lahore: The political opponents of Imran Khan are claiming that slogans of ‘chor chor’ were chanted against the PTI chairman during his visit to the shrine of Baba Fareed in Pakpattan.

Several Twitter accounts including PMLN leader Hina Pervez Butt shared a video which shows slogans being raised.

But as soon as the original videos were posted online, it became clear that the clips shared by Khan’s critics were doctored.

Imran Khan arrived in a private aircraft with his wife Bushra Bibi and close aide Shahbaz Gill in Vehari from where they travelled to Pakpattan.
