India: Sushma Swaraj dies

New Delhi: Sushma Swaraj, former Indian External Affairs Minister, died on Tuesday, according to local media. She was 67.

The media reports said was hospitalized after suffering from a heart attack on Tuesday evening. 

The demise of senior Indian politician became top Twitter trend as condolences poured in from across the world.

She served as the External Affairs Minister under Prime Minister Modi.

Indians are paying tribute to the late leader of Baharatiya Janata Party (BJP), with many of them posting her tweets which she had sent to several people seeking her help.
