Mehwish Hayat finally opens up about fake viral video

Mehwish Hayat has finally opened up about a viral video being attributed to her.

The Sitara-e-Imtiaz recipient actress reacted to the video while commenting on a Vlog by Javeria Siddique, a prominent journalist and wife
of TV anchor Arshad Siddiqui.

The Urdu language blog was written on the possibile motives behind the video targeting Mehwish Hayat.

Thanking Javeria, Mehwish said she would take legal action against those behind the character assassination campaign against her.

“This has been going on for far too long. This time it is one step too far. My legal team is on the case. Rest assured I will continue working for the betterment of my country,” Mehwish said.

She added, “This lobby against me will not succeed no matter how low they stoop. The truth will always prevail .”
