Islamabad: The Pakistan Air Force on Monday issued a statement on Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Babar’s visit to his village.
The PAF said the red carpet was done by villagers to show “respect & pride” for air chief. It said the air chief had stopped on June 11 at his native village en route to operations area to offer Fateha at the graves of his parents.
The statement said transport and security arrangements were “made as part of authorised security protocol” .
