PMLN was callous towards Kashmir, ex-diplomat tells Maryam Nawaz

Islamabad: Pakistan’s former High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit on Monday responded to PMLN criticism of Prime Minister Imran Khan his policy towards Kashmir.

The PMLN Vice President and daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif posted a video of Khawaja Asif criticism Imran Khan for his alleged remarks that Kashmir should be divided into three parts.

In the video that Maryam Nawaz captioned “No NRO to Imran Khan” Khawaja Asif claimed that the PTI leader’s demand that he made in 2016 has been met now.

The former diplomat retweeted Maryam Nawaz’s statement with a comment.

He wrote “As former high commissioner to India I am privy to many things. Please do read Ufa Joint Statement of 10 July 2015 to understand how callous then government was when it came to Kashmir”.
