Syed Ali Geelani’s funeral in pictures and videos

Sir Nagar: Kashmir leader Syed Ali Geelani was buried in night-time funeral after his body was snatched from his family by Indian forces. The campaigner against Indian rule died Wednesday at the age of 92 and was buried in a tightly controlled ceremony as India imposed a lockdown across the troubled region.

Geelani’s body was wrapped in Pakistani flag as the Indian police took it away. The quite funeral of Geelani was organised by local authorities, amid tight security and restrictions with mobile connectivity by and large snapped in Kashmir.
