Karachi: Geo News’ 9:00 PM bulletin on Saturday was the last appearance of Absa Komal on Pakistan’s top private channel.
The extremely talented TV anchor made a good name for herself in the local media industry before calling it a day to take up a new challenge.

Taking to Instagram, Absa Komal, who has an uncanny resemblance to Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif, took her fans by surprise with the announcement that she will no longer be appearing on their TV screens.
“My journey Geo News ends with 9:00 pm bulletin today. It’s been a dream run, working with some of the most professional and talented people and being with GEO a name which still tops all.
As much as I will miss my GEO family, I am excited about the next journey as well,” the Report Card host wrote on Instagram.
Although she didn’t reveal the reason behind her decision and anything about the new journey she plans to undertake, it has been learnt that the popular anchor has joined the Voice of America (VOA) and would soon be moving to the United States.
