UET Lahore bans female students from wearing Tights, skinny jeans

LAHORE: Institute of Business and Management at the the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) has banned its female students from wearing “tights and skinny jeans” in the campus.

According to a notification issued on Friday, the university administration has issued a new dress code that will be applicable from March 11.

In case of violation Rs.5000 fine will be imposed and the student will not be allowed to attend the class that day, the notification said.

Here is the dress code for Male and Female students

Male:
Dress Pants/Dress Shirt, Shalwar Qameez with waist coat
Shalwar Qameez on Friday
Dress Shoes

Female:

Shalwar Qameez with kee length shirt
Deep necks not allowed
Sleeveless shits are not allowed
Trousers wit long shirts
Tights, skinny jeans and Capri paints are nit allowed
Dupatta or scarf is compulsory
