Pervez Elahi mocks, abuses Fawad Chaudhry in leaked call

Lahore: Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has been heard mocking and abusing Fawad Chaudhry in a purported leaked audio call.

Speaking to an unknown person by telephone, the former chief minister said his government had survived if Fawad Chaudhry would have been arrested a few days ago.

Calling Fawad fat and hurling abuses at him, Pervez Elahi suggests that the former information minister was behind Imran Khan’s decision to dissolve the Punjab Assembly.

Fawad was given into police custody for 2 days on Wednesday hours after he was arrested from his home in Lahore for threatening members of the Election Commission and their families.
