Aima Baig receives backlash for wearing Imam Zamin on bare arm

Pakistani singer Aima Baig has been accused of disrespecting Hazrat Fatima (R.A), for wearing an Imam Zamin, an arm band bearing the name of the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

An imam zamin is an band with a token cash amount stitched inside tied to the arm for safe keeping at special occasions.

Aima was criticized by thousands of people online for wearing Imam Zamin on her bare arm while wearing a sleeveless shirt.

The singer has not reacted to the backlash she has received after her multiple pictures from a ceremony surfaced online.
