‘Doctor Strange 2’ release date in Pakistan announced

Pakistani movie goers are eagerly waiting for the release of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” or “Doctor Strange 2”.

The cinemas in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and other major cities have started advance for the superhero film that releases on Friday, 6 May 2022 in Pakiatan.

There are reports that Pakistan’s censor authorities have objected to a scene. If the film’s release gets delayed below is a Twitter thread which explains why would it happen:

Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is the sequel to Doctor Strange (2016) and the 28th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The film is directed by Sam Raimi, written by Michael Waldron, and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, alongside Elizabeth Olsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Rachel McAdams.

In the film, Strange and his allies travel into the multiverse to face a mysterious new adversary.
