Met Gala 2021: Bella Hadid conspicuous by her absence

Met Gala 2021 titled “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” was attended by actors, singers, sports stars and social media influencers who embraced the theme of “American Independence.”

The invitation-only gala is a fundraising benefit for New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art and also marks the opening of the Costume Institute’s annual fashion exhibition which this year is titled “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion”.

Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, Maria Sharapova, Kim Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Gigi Hadid and many other stars wore show-stopping outfit in the event. Supermodel Bella Hadid was conspicuous by her absence from Met Gala, Her fans expressed disappointment after they learnt that she won’t be attending the event.

Shortly after the event, Gigi Hadid took to Instagram to share what gave Bella’s fans an idea of why she was unable to attend the star-studded gala.

Taking to her Insta stories, Gigi posted a picture of couple of cans and a pizza with a caption that read, “MY SIS SENT The SUBSTANCE”.

A look at Bella’s social media suggested that the supermodel was busy launching her Kin Euphoric adaptogen drink.
