ARY anchor Arshad Sharif escapes from Pakistan

Islamabad: ARY News anchor Arshad Sharif has escaped from Pakistan after a case was registered against him following Shahbaz Gill’s arrest.

The anchor left Pakistan for Dubai from Peshawar’s Bacha Khan airport.

Sources close to his family confirmed that the journalist has left Pakistan.

A picture of the anchor has also been released from the airport.

ARY News owner Salman Iqbal, Head of News Ammad Yousaf and Kashif Abbasi have also been booked by police after Gill’s arrest on the charges of sedition.

News of his escape came hours after Ammad Yousaf was arrested from his house in Karachi.
