‘Aurat March’ 2020: Pictures and posters from International Women’s Day rallies
The International Women’s Day witnessed both male and female participants flocking to “Aurat March” rallies held in major cities of Pakistan.
Large gatherings were held in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad amid tight security arrangements.
Tempers flared in Islamabad on Sunday as protesters marched to celebrate International Women´s Day.
Some people were injured when members of a religious party hurled sticks and stone on the participants of “Aurat March”.
Elesewhere in the country, the protests were largely peaceful.
