‘Behind Closed Doors’ is not a Netflix documentary about corruption in Pakistan
Islamabad: Reports that Netflix is releasing a documentary titled “Behind Closed Doors” about corruption in Pakistan are incorrect.
PTI supporters and journalists associated with the party are spreading a trailer of the documentary which they say will expose corruption of Imran Khan’s opponents.
An hour after sharing the trailer with claim that Netflix is releasing the documentary, TV anchor Shiffa Yousafzai said Netflix has yet to confirm that it is releasing the documentary.
The documentary is private and it has nothing to do with Netflix.
Any political party can hire a foreigner or two to produce such a documentary.
Netflix does not ask for funds which the documentary producers are asking for.
It also features the likes of Arshad Sharif who is a journalist loyal to the PTI.
