Bilal Asghar Warraich: MPA part of ‘regime change conspiracy’ once again joins PTI
Lahore: Some Pakiatqn Tehreek-e-Insaf workers have questioned the party leadership’s decision to welcome Bilal Asghar Warraich.
Warraich had ditched the PTI to join the PML-N during what Imran Khan calls the “regime change operation” last year.
Warraich, an MPA from Punjab Assembly constituency Toba Tek Singh, was called Lota (an insulting term for turncoats) by the PTI.
The PTI had accused its lawmakers of selling their loyalties to the PML-N.
The former PTI MPA has been welcomed again to secure a vote in upcoming vote of confidence for Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi.
The announcement came after Bilal Warraich met PTI chief Imran Khan at his residence in Zaman Park, Lahore.
PTI leaders Mian Aslam Iqbal and Fawad Chaudhry were also present in the meeting.
The PTI chief welcomed Chaudhry Bilal into the party and hailed his decision to vote against the “looters”.
