BOL News anchor Jameel Farooqi arrested

Karachi: BOL News anchor Jameel Farooqi has been arrested over his claim about alleged torture on Shahbaz Gill as crackdown against pro-PTI journalists continued in Pakistan.

The case was registered against him for claiming that Gill was raped with sticks.

The YouTuber and anchor claimed to have watched the pictures of the alleged torture on Gill.

BOL News has confirmed that Jameel Farooqi was taken into custody.

Earlier, FIRs were registered against Arshad Sharif, Khawar Ghumman and Kashif Abbasi.

Arshad Sharif escaped from Pakistan after Shahbaz Gill was arrested on the charges on sedition.
