Chief Justice Bandial left embarrassed as reporter refuses to pose for picture with him
Islamabad: Senior reporter Abdul Qayyum Siddiqui refused to poss for a picture with Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Atta Bandial during an event on Monday.
According to eyewitnesses when the chief justice asked Siddiqui “let’s take a photo together”, the court reporter answered he won’t pose with him.
Siddiqui is known for criticizing Bandial over the way he has run the apex court.
The senior Geo News court reporter is regarded as one of the best court reporters in Pakistan.
Hours after it was reported that he refused to take a picture with the CJP, Siddiqui shared a picture with former Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth, known for his verdict against former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf.
Seth died months after announcing his verdict against Musharraf in high treason case.
