A spokesman for the father of Pakistan’s nuclear bomb said Khan was admitted at KRL hospital on August 26, after testing positive for Covid-19.

Dr AQ Khan has been writing weekly columns for Pakistan’s leading newspapers Daily Jang and The News apart from doing charity work after his retirement.

As soon as news of his hospitalization broke, thousands of people took to social media to wish him speedy recovery.
