Dr Sidra Niazi dies after being shot at by father in Mianwali

Rawalpindi: Dr Sidra Niazi, a resident of Mianwali who was shot at by her father, died at a hospital in Rawalpindi.

She was moved to Rawalpindi on August 20 after her father allegedly shot her for refusing to marry one of hr cousins.

A case was registered against her father on the complaint of her brother but police have yet to arrest him.

Police said Dr Sidra Niazi’s father shot her because she wanted to move to a hostel for further studies.
