Hina Pervez Butt reacts after harassment in London
London: The Pakistan Muslim League-N(PML-N) leader Hina Pervaiz Butt on Monday thanked people who lent support to her after she was heckled in London.
The PML-N leader was with her son when alleged PTI workers harassed her.
In a Twitter statement she said, ‘Thank you to all those who have condemned the misbehavior of PTI goons who heckled me and my son in London. Your messages of support mean a lot to me. I will not let these thugs silence me.”
Earlier, a couple of videos of unknown persons abusing Hina Pervaiz Butt went viral, with majority of Pakistanis condemning the act.
Several PTI supporters endorsed the harassment and argued that it was nothing in comparison to the treatment meted out to Imran Khan’s female supporters.
