Iqrar ul Hassan injured in attack during show recording

Karachi: ARY anchor Iqrar ul Hassan was injured in an attack by unknown men on Monday.

Hassan was shifted to hospital after the incident which reportedly took place in Orangi Town area of Karachi during the recording to his popular show.

According to unconfirmed reports, other team members of “Sarray Same”, Iqrar’s show, were also tortured.

Anchor Waseem Badami and other journalist have condemned the attack.

While the ARY anchors avoided naming anyone, some journalists claimed that Iqrar ul Hassan was attacked by the personnel of the Intelligence Bureau (IB).

The, IB, the premier civilian intelligence agency, has yet to comment on the allegations levelled against its personnel.
