‘Karachi blackout’ notification is fake: Sindh govt

Karachi: Sindh government has said a notification regarding ‘Karachi blackout’ which is doing the rounds on social media is fake.

Chief Minister’s Advisor Murtaza Wahab tweeted a copy of the notification, saying, “this document which is doing the rounds on the social media is absolutely FAKE. Neither has this document been issued nor any such thing is under discussion. Thank you”.

According to the fake notification, there will be a complete lockdown in Karachi from June 14 to June 29 due to prevailing security threats.
