McDonald’s Pakistan issues statement on Israel
Karachi: McDonald’s Pakistan on Saturday issued a statement after people called for a boycott of the food chain after the latest conflict began between Israel and Palestine.
The company was facing backlash after McDonald’s Israel announced to give free meals to citizens and members of security forces.
McDonald’s Pakistan said that it’s owned by a local company and has nothing to do with McDonald’s Israel.
The statement was issued in both English and Urdu languages.
It, however, refrained from making any statement on the conflict between Israel and Palestinians.
