PTV host Ahmed Qureshi receives backlash over Israel visit
Islamabad: PTV host Ahmed Qureshi has reacted to criticism over his visit to Israel.
PTI leader Shireen Mazari was prominent among those who highlighted his visit to the Jewish state and linked Qureshi to some “sensitive state institutions” of Pakistan.
Qureshi, who was part of an American entourage, said he is neither a government employee nor a permanent worker of Pakistan Television.
Two days later, Qureshi claimed Imran Khan made efforts to recognize Israel, a claim that prompted strong reaction from Shireen Mazari.
