Fugitive Major Adil Raja blames army chief after Imran Khan says his life under threat

Islamabad: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Thursday warned that the government has decided to take strict action against PTI supporters who are vilifying national institutions and their heads.

He said the elements sitting abroad and in Pakistan are running an Indian agenda in their anti-Pakistan campaign.

His statement came after fugitive former military officer and notorious propagandist Major (retd) Adil Raja accused Army Chief General Asim Munir of approving “another assassination plan” against Imran Khan.

Raja, who escaped from Pakistan and is now settled in the United Kingdom, claimed that the army chief might change DG ISI Lt. General Nadeem Anjum for optics but Major General Faisal Naseer will continue serving as Director Counter intelligence DG (C).

The propagandist made the claim a day after former prime minister Imran Khan said his life was under threat.

Khan once again named Dirty Harry in his speech, a reference to the DG(C).

Some PTI leaders also accuses Major Adil Raja of pitting Imran Khan’s party against the military and misleading the youth.

Sources claim that Lt. General Amjad Shoaib, who was released from custody on Thursday, have also been in contact with Major (retd) Adil Raja.
