Karachi weather update: Friday 16-09-2022

Karachi: Weather is expected to remain pleasant in Karachi on Friday after winds from the sea resumed in the city.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), temperature would remain 31 to 33 degrees Celsius while ratio of humidity in the air would be 60 t 60 percents.

Monsoon currents are penetrating upper parts of the country and likely to strengthen during next 24 hours. A westerly wave is also present over western /upper parts of the country.

Mainly hot and dry weather is likely to prevail over most plain areas of the country. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
