Karachi weather update: Thursday 05-01-2023

Karachi: Minimum temperature in Karachi was recorded between 9 to 11 degrees Celsius on Thursday, according to the Pakiatan Meteorological Department (PMD).

Private broadcaster Pakweather.com said temperature dropped to record 6 degrees Celsius in areas near Malir Cantt.

The ratio of humidity is expected to remain 40 to 50 percent in Karachi.

Meanwhile, cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold in upper parts and north Balochistan. Dense fog is likely to continue over plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh. Frost is expected in Pothohar region during morning hours.
