Fight breaks out between Afnan Ullah, PTI’s Sher Afzal Marwat after Imran Khan ‘abused’ on Javed Chaudhry’s show
Islamabad: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senator Afnan Ullah Khan and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Khan Marwat Advocate got involved in a physical fight on Javed Chaudhry’s Express News talkshow.
Both the politicians have confirmed that they fought on the show but avoided sharing details of who dominated the fight.
Sources within Express News said that the fight broke out when Afnan Ullah, the son of late Mushahid Ullah Khan, alleged abused former prime minister Imran Khan on the show.
An angry Marwat reportedly slapped Afnan Ullah Khan when the latter allegedly used foul language against his incarcerated leader.
The PML-N Senator then allegedly overpowered the PTI lawyer after pinning him to the ground and kicked and punched him before the crew intervened.
While video of the fight has not yet surfaced online, a clip retweeted by Afnan Ullah Khan confirms that Marwat had left the show after the fight.
Marwat, who is at loggerheads with his party, PTI, over his differences with Shoaib Shaheen, another member of Imran Khan’s legal team, also tweeted that he had no option left after his leader was abused by the PML-N Senator.
