Iqrar ul Hassan not arrested in Ayesha Ikram case

Karachi: Rumors of Iqrar ul Hassan’s arrest started swirling on Monday when a video of the handcuffed ARY anchor surfaced online.

Wearing black qameez shalwar, the anchor is accompanied by policemen in the video.

Captions accompanying the video claimed that Iqrar was arrested for his involvement in the Minar-e-Pakistan incident which saw TikToker Ayesha Ikram harassed by a mob.

According to police in Karachi, Iqrar has not been arrested.The video being circulated is old. It was made when the anchor was taken into custody when he had entered the Sindh Assembly with a gun a few years ago.
