Mohsin Baig being appointed caretaker prime minister?

Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers are concerned after rumors started circulating that journalist and former friend of Imran Khan Mohsin Baig would be made caretake prime minister after the government completes its tenure.
The workers of the embattled party are worried that the ongoing crackdown against them would intensify if Baig is chosen as the interim prime minister.
Mohsin Baig was arrested after he developed differences with Khan during the last days of his government.
During one of his court appearances, Mohsin Baig famously said, “Khan to tu gaya (Khan you’re gone).
Another reason the PTI workers are concerned about his possible appointment is a couple of pictures of Mohsin Baig with General Asim Munir that appeared after the latter’s appointment as the army chief.
But informed sources in Islamabad say there’s no truth in rumors regarding Mohsin Baig’s appointment as caretaker prime minister of the country.
They said General Asim Munir had pictures taken with many prominent figures before and after his appointment as army chief and having pictures with people doesn’t imply that he is friends with them.
