PTI disowns Twitter accounts celebrating army helicopter crash
Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday said the Twitter accounts celebrating the army helicopter crash have nothing to do with the party.
The party issued a statement on social media after some Twitter accounts claiming to be Imran Khan’s supporters were seen reacting inappropriately to the news of the crash that killed six military men including Commander 12 Corps Lt.Gen Sarfaraz Ali.
“We have zero tolerance about accounts that spew hatred.Zero tolerance on national tragedies being used to create divisions. Such accounts will be blocked by PTI official,” said a Twitter statement by the party.
The PTI also shared screenshots of Twitter profiles involved in tweeting against the army.
