PTI supporter Iskander Zaman sentenced to three years over social media posts

Karachi: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is protesting the sentencing of social media activist Sikander Zaman who was handed down three years of imprisonment for criticizing the army.
A huge fine was also imposed on Sikander Zaman as part of the punishment.

Interestingly, Zaman had only184 followers on Twitter when he was sentenced.
The PTI social media team has condemned the conviction of one of the party supporters.
PTI leaders Hassan Niazi and Azhar Mashwani said the party would challenge the verdict.
