PTI workers condemn elements behind Pervaiz Rasheed’s alleged video
Islamabad: A private video purporting to show veteran Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Pervaiz Rasheed has elicited strong reaction from politicians, journalists and social media activists.
Without naming Rasheed or mentioning the viral video, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Senator Mustafa Khokar posted a cryptic tweet defending the privacy of politicians and the members of the parliament.
PTI’s Azhar Mashwani also condemned the video and appeared to blame the powerful circles being behind it.
Some PTI workers said by leaking the alleged video of Pervaiz Rasheed, certain quarters were preparing the ground to target Imran Khan in a similar manner.
Authenticity of the video could not be independently verified but some of Pervaiz Rasheed’s friends said it was fake.
