Sami Ibrahim receives backlash for remarks about Bilawal Bhutto

Islamabad: BOL News anchor Sami Ibrahim is receiving backlash for his remarks about Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

In a TikTok video, Ibrahim made an inappropriate joke about Bilawal Bhutto while, drawing criticism from thousands of PPP workers and independent journalists.

PPP leader Shazia Marri condemned his remarks and said that Sami Ibrahim has “clearly exposed himself in a country where journalists were whipped for standing against dictatorship, jailed for critical opinions and attacked for reporting the truth, his brand of filth cannot be called journalism.”

Sami Ibrahim was slapped by former PTI information minister Fawad Chaudhry for his uncouth behavior.
