Solar eclipse in Pakistan 2019

Karachi: Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasts suggest second solar eclipse of total three predicted for 2019 will happen this month.

The first solar eclipse occurred in January that was partial and which saw the moon block only a portion of the sun.

During that eclipse it looked as though the moon was taking a bite out of the sun.

The solar eclipse in Pakistan is expected to occur on July 13.

According to the Met Office, it will be the total eclipse which would last for up to four minutes and 33 seconds.
