Usman Mirza’s victims get married: Islamabad police

Islamabad: Police on Thursday said that the couple seen in a viral Islamabad video is married now, without elaborating further.

Hours after Prime Minister Imran Khan took notice of the matter, the police said that the couple, whose names have been not been shared, has recorded their statement to the police after they were seen being harassed by Usman Mirza and his friends.

According to Geo News, the statement was recorded under the supervision of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigations.

The police said that all four suspects seen in the viral clip have been taken into custody. Prime Minister Imran Khan, while reacting to the incident, said in a statement that “such people don’t deserve any concessions” as he ordered the Police IG to use all their energies to bring the suspects to justice.
