Bridget Namiotka says skater John Coughlin sexually abused her before committing suicide

Bridget Namiotka, 29, a former partner of US figure-skating champion John Coughlin who committed suicide in January,has claimed that he sexually abused her for two years.
She used her Facebook account to made the claim in response to a Facebook post supporting Coughlin. The post has now been deleted, according to USA Today.
“I am sorry but John hurt at least 10 people including me. He sexually abused me for 2 years. Nobody innocent hangs themselves,” she wrote.
33-year-old Coughlin had killed himself a month after US Center for SafeSport placed him on restricted eligibility.
Bridget Namiotka and John Coughlin had skated together between 2004 and 2007 when they were 18 and 21 and 14 and 17.
She urged the people to think about the victims when “you’re speaking up for what he did to at least 10 girls.”
She went on add, “Grooming happens. It happened to me and he hurt a lot of girls. Think about the victims.”
John Coughlin had hanged himself at his father’s Kansas City home a day after being suspended.
