Manchester, Old Trafford Weather forecast: Pakistan vs India World Cup match

Weather is taking its toll on ICC World Cup 2019 and it has already affected four big matches of the tournament.

Ahead of Pakistan-India match in Manchester’s Old Trafford on Sunday , every cricket fan is worried about the weather conditions.

Both the teams had one match each abandoned due to rain. Pakistan vs Sri Lanka and India vs New Zealand matches were washed way by the rain without a single ball delivered.

According to weather forecasts, Pakistan vs India match on Sunday due to be held in Taunton is also likely to be affected by the rain.

Weather forecasters have predicted “light rain showers and a gentle breeze” on Sunday, when Pakistan take on India at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

“The weekend and start of next week will bring mixed weather. There will be some sunny spells each day, but there will also be the chance of showers too,” the BBC Weather website forecasted.

The UK MetOffice said Manchester would witness sunny intervals on Sunday “changing to light showers by late morning”.

Pakistan have only three points on the table, winning only the one match against England out of their four World Cup matches.

Whatever the predictions, cricket fans should not lose hope as Pakistan vs Australia match happens despite rain forecast in Taunton.
