Pakistan’s chances: Semifinals World Cup 2019

Karachi: Pakistan moved to fourth spot on the points table after defeating Afghanistan by three wickets in the ICC World Cup match on Saturday in Leeds, Headingley.

But England beat India on Sunday and once again is placed at 4th position pushing Pakistan to fifth position.

After chasing a 228-run target Pakistan, had pushed England to the fifth spot and were among the front-runners in the race to qualify for the semi-finals.

Pakistan have to beat Bangladesh in their next match and hope England lose against New Zealand.

If England win against New Zealand, the green-shirts will have to defeat Bangladesh by a huge margin and hope New Zealand and India don’t win any of their remaining matches.

Here is how Pakistan can qualify for the semi-finals.
