Host of a show on a private TV channel lost her cool and asked the guests they can leave after they called out Indian media for spreading lies about the killing of 300 militants in Pakistan during airstrikes earlier this week.
“Mr Tehseen Punawala, if you think you are participating in a show in Geo TV in Pakistan, be my guest, the door is there you can walk right away,” the anchor told the guest.
The anchor was also infuriated over another participant of her show Sunit Chopra who called Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan a man of honor and refused to accept anchor’s views that the Pakistan leader is not a statesman and magnanimous figure.
He said truth is something you can’t hide. “You are screaming away as though you are selling some kind of article,” he told the female anchor.
Both the guests spoke against the Indian media on air, with one saying it should be ashamed of itself for reporting things that Indian army had not said.
The clip from Indian channel was also posted on Twitter by Gibran Peshimam, the producer of Geo’s “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Saath”show after Pakistan released captured Indian pilot Abhinandan Varthaman.
