Google Doodle celebrates Novruz 2019

KARACHI: Google Doodle is celebrating the advent of Novruz, also known as the Persian New Year.

The doodle on the search engine depicts flowers, greenery,a butterfly and a worm, indicating the advent of spring.

Novruz is celebrated across the world by several ethnic groups.

It is the name of Iranian new year, also known as the Persian New Year.

Novruz holiday in Azerbaijan celebrates the New Year and the coming  of Spring with preparations for the occasion beginning a month earlier . A festival is held every Tuesday in four weeks in the country to welcome Novruz.
