Jews hold protest outside Indian embassy in New York over Kashmir

New York: A group of American Jews has staged a protest outside the Indian embassy in New York to protest India’s revocation of Kashmir’s autonomy.

The group of man and women was holding placards as they chanted slogans in favor of peace in Kashmir.

The slogans raised by the protesters also included “From Kashmir to Palestine, Occupation is a Crime”.

The protest comes days after New Delhi revoked special status of Occupied Kashmir amid security crackdown in the Muslim majority region which also saw almost all the top politicians placed under arrest.

Muslims around the world were sharing the pictures of the protest on social media and praising the demonstrators for standing by Kashmir.
