Watch: CCTV footage shows suicide bomber entering Sri Lanka church

Colombo: CCTV footage of a suspected suicide bomber at a Sri Lankan church emerged on Tuesday.

At least 50 people were killed in one of the suicide attacks inside the St Sebastian Church in Negombo on Sunday.

The video shows the suspected suicide bomber carrying a backpack walking across the yard before entering the St Sebastian Church. Other footage shows holding the detonators in his hand inside the Church.

Once outside the church, he is already prepared to detonate the device, and stops to pat a child on the head.

Over 300 people were killed and many others injured in eight explosions in Easter Day attacks in Sri Lanka. According to United Nations, 40 people were also among the dead.

Islamic State militant group has claimed responsibility for the horrific bombings.
