Meesha Shafi accuses Hum Style Awards of defending and supporting harassers

Singer Meesha Shafi on Sunday hit out at Hum Style Awards for inviting Ali Zafar to the ceremony.

Taking to Twitter, she asked the organizers of the Hum Style Awards to stop nominating her as she doesn’t need validation from “enablers”.

“You celebrate/award/defend and support harassers, this is old news. So no surprises. But shouldn’t ‘style’ awards at least try to find someone with style to host their show?

Meesha has fought a legal battle against Ali Zafar after accusing him of sexual harassment. Ali Zafar has denied the allegations on the media and the court.
