KARACHI: TV and film actress Atiqa Odho’s husband will be given Sitara-i- Imtiaz civil award on Pakistan Day for his public service.
Samar Ali Khan, former Sindh Assembly lawmaker associated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, was part of the government list containing names of personalities from different fields of life chosen for the Civil Awards.
Atiqa Odho took to Instagram and shared the good news with her fans. She posted a picture of herself with Khan with a caption that said “So proud of my husband #SamarAliKhan getting the #SitaraImtiaz for his years of #Public #Service to his #Nation. Well deserved”.
“Now I won’t be the only Sitara in his life from famed “Sitara Aur Mehrunissa”, she quipped while referring to her PTV drama from early 90s.
