Poet Kiran Waqar dies of coronavirus at 34

Lahore: Renowned Punjabi poet and intellectual Kiran Waqar has died due to the coronavirus. She was 34.

The poet belonging to Lahore was hospitalized after contracting COVID-19 a few days ago. Kiran is survived by a minor daughter.

Family sources said that Kiran’s mother and a brother also lost their lives due to the coronavirus.
