Veeru Devgan, father of Ajay Devgn passes away

Viru Devgan, famous Indian stunt director and father of Ajay Devgn has passed away in Mumbai.

He was 85.

According to local media, he was suffering from diabetes for the last several years and he was being treated at Santacruz’s Surya Hospital after his health deteriorated a few days ago.

Veeru Devgan had done action choreography for more than 80 Bollywood films.

He had also directed movies and appeared in some films as an actor including “Karanti, Saurabh, and Singhasan.

Devgan’s notable films as an action director include “Phool Aur Kante”, “Himmatwala” “Prem Roga and “Karanti”.

He was known as taciturn person rarely seen in Bollywood parties and functions. He was last seen on Ajay Devgn’s “Total Dhamal” screening.

Condelence started pouring in as the news of Veeru Devgan was aired by local media.
