Lahore: A police officer has accused an army major and his subordinates of abducting and torturing him.
SHO, Police Station Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Dilawar Bhutta, has filed a complaint against Major Assad and others.
The argument between the SHO and the army men started at the Qaddafi Stadium’s Gate 14 over the entry of some people during the ODI match between Pakistan and Australia.
According to the police complaint, the SHO was freed from army’s custody after interference from senior police officials.
A video of the incident has gone viral across social media and people have called on the army and ISI chief to take action against the army officials for their alleged involvement in the torture and abduction of a police officer.
